Modos is a tool-free furniture system that uses connectors and boards to make any furniture you want. We believe that furniture should be an investment, be durable, evolve with your needs, and limit your environmental footprint.
Made from sustainably harvested wood complements any decor, the ultra-durable and chic anodized aluminum connectors simplify tool-free assembly. It works perfectly as a side table to store and display your lamp, a framed photograph, or Aunt Martha's trumpet.

Quality materials that last a lifetime
The wood panels are made from 13 layers of kiln-dried, sustainably-harvested birch, which is then laminated with maple or walnut veneers, making them incredibly strong, stable, and beautiful. The layers are held together with soy-based glue (not some scary formaldehyde-based glue), resulting in the highest quality wood you can buy.
Modos was started by two guys in Brooklyn who were frustrated with most of the furniture on the market. Much of the ready-to-assemble furniture on the market today are made to look challenging but straightforward when moving into a new home; furniture is often thrown away and replaced because it doesn't withstand the move or doesn't fit into the new space.
The founders of Modos thought there must be a better option, which is why they invented Modos, user-friendly furniture that assembles without tools and can be reconfigured into a different shape each time a move occurs.
